WFSAA News - Winter 2011

FINISHING OUT 2011

The WFSAA has had a great 2011!

  • March - We toured Middleton Fire District's new firehouse
    • We also hosted Board members from the IL Fire Service Administrative Professionals (IFSAP) Association
  • April – IFSAP had Angela White and I as guests at their annual conference
  • June - We were honored to assist the WSFCA with registration (and some minor security detail) during their annual conference
  • September - We toured the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department's new firehouse
  • November – An all-star line-up:
    • Christi Andringa, Candringa! Productions
    • Wendy Naarup, Wake Up! Traveling from good enough to great
    • Chuck Berger, Microsoft Excel

LOOKING FORWARD TO 2012

In 2012 our quarterly meetings will take us all over the state:

  • March 14 – Neenah-Menasha
  • June 20 – Wisconsin Dells (WSFCA Conference)
  • September 14 – Fitchburg
  • November 14 – Portage

If travel distance has kept your Department from participating, one of these locations is probably in your area. Remember: carpooling is always an option! We'll also continue to build our relationship with IFSAP, working to co-host a joint, inter-state conference.

WSFCA MEMBERS

Think about what your administrative personnel could bring back to The House when they are able to participate in training and networking opportunities with their peers from across the state. Administrative personnel who are connected with the WFSAA learn ways to perform their job functions more efficiently, thereby allowing them to help you look even better.

WFSSA HISTORY & INFORMATION

The WFSAA was established in 1993 and consists of administrative assistants, secretaries and related support staff from throughout the state.
