Chiefing 101/202

Event Information

Chiefing 101/202 occurs every two years. The next Chiefing 101/202 program will occur in early 2013.

Target Audience:
New Fire Chiefs or Chief Officers (Chiefing 101), as well as experienced Chiefs (Chiefing 202) that are seeking an educational opportunity related to roles, responsibilities, and successful survival as a Chief Fire Officer in Wisconsin.

Chiefing 101 participants have the opportunity to participate in interactive and informative sessions that include communication with staff, a legislative overview of the Wisconsin fire service, budgeting and finance and more.

Chiefing 202 participants benefit from educational workshops on human resources, continued health and fitness of the department, and tactics for responding to local and state government.

Both groups enjoy the many opportunities to network with attendees, speakers and board members over the course of the weekend. Participants come to renew and establish connections, and gain vital information for the success and health of their department.
