2012 Annual Conference
Call for Presentations

The Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs’ Association (WSFCA) is now accepting proposals for educational sessions at the 2012 Annual Conference, which will take place June 21-24, 2012 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.The WSFCA represents over 1,000 active and retired Fire Chiefs and Chief Officers in the state of Wisconsin.

Chief Glenn Linzmeier from the Blooming Grove Fire Department is serving as Conference Chairperson and the theme for the 2012 Conference is “Leading Your Department Out of the Jungle.”

Interested candidates are asked to submit outlines of their proposed topics by June 15, 2011 to be considered by the Conference Committee.

Please be sure to include with your proposal:

  • Abstract
  • Target Audience/Relevance
  • Outline of Presentation
  • Biography

Benefits of Presenting:

The WSFCA appreciates the value that each presenter's expertise, background, and experience brings to the conference. The WSFCA offers the following benefits to selected presenters:

  • One night’s accommodation at the Kalahari (if not charging honorarium)
  • Complimentary full-conference registration for the day you are speaking. This includes access to all sessions, meals provided to full conference attendees and the exhibit hall

If you are selected as a keynote or general session speaker, you will be paid all travel expenses and an honorarium (if requested).
