Membership Forums
Just recently added to WSFCA.com are discussion forums! These forums will serve as a new communication tool for Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs’ Association members. Unlike the email list serve where you receive a new email for each post, the forums will provide a “daily digest” of posts making it much easier on your inbox! Also, all posts will be archived and displayed in an easy to view format. This makes it very useful to look for topics of discussion that happened previously and might have gotten lost in your inbox. The list serve will still continue as a service to members.
To access the discussion forums, you must login with your membership ID (email address) and password. If you need assistance in logging-in, please contact the WSFCA Business Office at 800-375-5886 or email info@wsfca.com.
We ask that members follow the same rules as the list serve:
Acceptable postings include:
- Positions available
- Requests for information or assistance on fire service topics
- Promotion of WSFCA programs and services
- Training opportunities
- Department events
- Line of Duty Deaths
Unacceptable postings include (but not limited to):
- Solicitations of business by Associate members
- Political positions for or against legislative actions, except those approved by the WSFCA Board of Directors.

Here are some easy to follow instructions on how to navigate the forums:
Step 1: Direct your browser to www.wsfca.com and enter your login information in the lower right side of the screen

Step 2: After a successful login, you will arrive at your profile screen. Here you can upload an avatar (photograph) or update your membership information. To get to the forums select “Member Forums” which is located under the Membership tab of the menu.

Step 3: You will be at the main Forum screen. If you wish to receive a “daily digest” of the posts made, click on “Subscribe to Daily Digest” on the left hand menu above the rotating sponsor logos. You can unsubscribe at anytime by clicking “Unsubscribe from Daily Digest”.

Step 4: Click on the message board to view the posts. You can start a new discussion or topic by clicking “Start Discussion” in the lower right corner. By clicking on an individual topic, you will be taken to the discussion.

Step 5: When viewing the individual discussion, you can reply to a post by clicking “reply” under the message.

Step 6: After clicking reply you can create your message just like an email. If you would like to receive an email after each reply to your post in this discussion (instead of waiting for the daily digest), make sure the “Monitor this Post” box is checked. This can be a very helpful if you are looking for immediate responses to a topic. When completed click Post.
