Pre-weekend Hands-On Training Events:
Large Vehicle Stabilization and Extrication presented by The REACT Center (Friday 9am - 6pm) Additional registration fee of $75. Class size is limited to 20. NFA Attendees Only. Lunch Included.
This course provides hands-on training for fire and rescue personnel in large vehicle stabilization and extrication. Emphasis will be put on proper stabilization techniques when dealing with large vehicles such as buses, trucks, and semitrailers allowing rescuers to safely access and extricate trapped occupants.
Initial Operations at Large Scale Incidents presented by The REACT Center (Friday 9am - 6pm) Additional registration fee of $75. Class size is limited to 20. NFA Attendees Only. Lunch Included.
This course provides a combination of lecture and hands-on training looking at initial size-up of large scale non-fire events including high wind, building collapse, wide area search, and more.
A large portion of these course fees for the Hands-On Training Events are being offset by a contribution from the WSFCA Foundation with the goal to promote first responder safety. We ask that only attendees with limited training funds or a high need for this training apply.
